The next process this air purifier and ionizer uses is a germicidal light that is deep into the ultraviolte spectrum at 185nm that effectively kills any micro- organisims. It also creates negative ions that break down chemical toxins in the air that most filter systems just can't do because they are smaller then .1 micron and cant be filtered out by traditional methods, only destroyed by negative ions. And it uses a ozone as a byproduct of the ultraviolet lamps to help reduce odors and they use a safe ozone that monitors the ozone amount and pulls most of it out of the air flow after it has been used so you get the benefit of ozone odor removal and microbe killing with out building it up in your home that might be hazardous. This unit is very small as well, it stands ten and a half inches high and ten inches wide and has a depth of about four inches so it can be place almost any place in you home quite easily. This unit costs around four hundred dollars to four hundred and fifty dollars and costs around one to three dollars a month to operate depending on what speed setting you keep it on. With a total weight of around six pounds it is very light and easily moved to any location as needed. |
